I have three or four days left in Shreveport before heading back to Los Angeles. The movie is nearly over, the shark has bitten its last victim and now the film will be edited, special effects will be added in post production, sound effects will be layered in and a poster will be created to sell the final product. Also, the name of the movie could possibly change, so while we refer to it affectionately as Shark Night 3D, in six or eight months time when this will be released it could be under a different name. Just remember, its about a shark and its in 3D!
Smith & Jones did a good job, they will never be uber water dogs - which is rather disappointing seeing that they are Labrador Retrievers, but they did everything that was asked of them for the movie and in the meantime had some wicked downtime, which consisted of some serious sleeping on their part...

I can't wait to get home. It will take about two and a half days to drive back, thankfully it won't be as hot as when we drove out here. Although I still can't believe that Louisiana has had the worse drought in history this summer and southern California has had rain, hail and thunderstorms. I was looking forward to some rain while I was here and it rained more back home. Oh well. I'll be home soon, I miss my house, my bed and my dogs. And as soon as I get settled - I'll want to take off again...

...and I'll totally be okay with that. :-)
I love the pic of Jones in bed. Our yellow sleeps like that too, with total abandon, every inch quivering with joy.
